Microsoft Power BI Desktop

Power BI Desktop is a business analytics service which delivers powerful insights to enable fast and informed decision making.  Connect to hundreds of data sources with Live connections for automatic data synchronisation.  Produce beautiful reports, then publish them for your organisation to consume on the web and across mobile devices. Everyone can create personalised dashboards with a unique, 360-degree view of their business. And scale across the enterprise, with governance and security built-in.

This course is designed for new or existing basic users of Power BI.  An introductory knowledge of Microsoft Excel would be useful.

Delegates will learn what Power BI Desktop is and when it is useful to use this tool, how to import and link to data sources, manipulate the data, create dashboard visualisations and export the results to Power BI.com.  Delegates will also learn shortcuts, tips and advice about how to use Power BI in the most efficient way.
